How many girls out there have tried a zillion products… and then only loved a handful of them?
Goodness – so much wasted money!!
That’s why I love reading other people’s product reviews. I feel like it’s helped me narrow down some of my choices and guide me to some really great products!
So I’m here to do the same for Y-O-U and hopefully help you out!!!!
Keep in mind that I like affordable products and that overall I am a pretty low maintenance kind of girl.

This thing works like a charm! And although I have naturally straight hair, I still use this thing 80% of my days! I love to do a quick run-through of my hair to give it a super straight finish so I feel polished and put together for the day.
It’s super light-weight, heats up really fast, and has multiple heating temperature options. And although I haven’t personally mastered the whole “curling your hair with a straightener” thing, I do think this straightener would be a great option for people who are super talented and able to do this!

This is the cheapest option that actually makes my hair feel clean while still leaving some volume in my hair.
Yes, it does come out as a white powder so you really have to rub it into your scalp and make sure to brush your hair (I use a boar bristle brush) to really get it all mixed in.
I feel like this stuff lasts all day and the best part about it is the PRICE! It’s the most affordable dry shampoo that I have found that I love!
It also comes in LOADS of different scents!
Yep. This is one product that I NEVER leave home without! I seriously think that I would give up everything else if I was only able to choose one product to keep. I have to have my lovely little Carmex!
It keeps my lips moisturized all day long. I’m not a huge makeup kind of girl, but I do love having soft lips so this is my perfect product!
I have some in my purse, in my nightstand, in my car, and in the kitchen junk drawer! Ha!

Hands down, this is the best body lotion I have ever tried!
I put lotion on every single day. I hate the feeling without it.
I also hate when I try a lotion and it’s all greasy. YUCK. This Cerave product is more like a cream that your body absorbs. It leaves me feeling silky and smooth all day long!
Does anybody else out there hate blow drying your hair?!? Then this stuff is DEFINITELY 100% for you!!!!
This product actually advertises that it will cut down on your blow-dry time, and I know it’s true because I’ve been using this product for years now!
Not only does it cut down on blow-dry time, but it also works as a detangler, a heat protectant, AND reduces frizz.
It’s a win – win – win!!!!!
Seriously – if you were going to try just ONE product from this entire list, I would recommend it be this one!
So if you love being lazy and not washing your hair (who doesn’t?!?), but you want an up-scale dry shampoo… then this is the one for you! I have tried LOADS of dry shampoos, and if you’re willing to pay $20-$25 for your dry shampoo, then I highly recommend this one!
It has NO white residue people! It absolutely goes on clear. You simply spray it onto your roots, rub it into your scalp, brush it thoroughly, and then your hair will feel clean ALL DAY LONG.
My favorite mascara!!!!!
This mascara wand really grabs each eyelash. Absolutely NO chunks. I’ve even run out of it before, used a second brand choice that I happened to have in my drawer… and then went over it with the wand of the Loreal mascara to even it out!
I like the look of clean lashes, and this mascara absolutely delivers that! AND I love that you can put on multiple layers for a darker lash!
I absolutely love this stuff!
8. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (light pale)
After I put on my skincare, I start with this product underneath each eye. It really brightens up the area making my face appear more alert and bright-eyed! It helps get rid of any dark under-eye circles that you might have as well.
It comes in a few different shades. I use light pale the majority of the year. You might have to switch it up if your face typically gets a lot tanner in the summer.
So I have flat hair. Like really flat hair. There’s not a lot of days when I feel like I have “voluminous” hair.
However, this product is absolutely a product that has helped me with this struggle!
You simply spray it on your roots, massage into your scalp, and then blow-dry. I use a boar bristle round brush and then brush my hair away from my scalp.
I always feel like it gives my hair a little bit more volume than on days that I do not use it. Just a little boost! I’ll take whatever I can get!
10. Revlon Waver
On the days that I don’t wash my hair, this is the ultimate hair tool for me! I wake up and use dry shampoo, brush thoroughly, and then use this waver to create beach-like waves!
Since my hair typically has little to NO volume on the days I don’t wash it, this little tool puts enough “crimp” in my hair to make it appear like it has volume!
Now heads up – the first time you use this thing, you might feel like you look like a lioness when you’re done. Here’s the key… finish curling all of your hair, hairspray, let it set… and then you’ve got to kind of “de-fluff” the madness – ha! Once you’ve done your de-fluffing, your hair will look dynamite!
Pinback a bit with a bobby pin or use a headband to accessorize as well!
This, my friends, is the ONLY hairspray I’ve used for YEARS!!! No joke. I absolutely love it.
It’s lightweight.
It doesn’t leave any stickiness AT ALL.
It smells good.
It’s affordable.
I can’t even begin to tell you how highly I recommend this product.
I used to never EVER wear lipstick.
Now, the only kind I like is LipSense! No, I don’t sell it. I probably should because I love it that much. It literally stays on ALL night long! You can wipe it with a napkin, you can drink from a glass, you can kiss your significant other… and it will STILL be 100% on your lips! Plus, this blu-red color is the PERFECT red lipstick. I have searched high and low, and I love this color more than any other red lipsticks I’ve ever tried!
When I was a kid, I could never get my eyeshadow to stay on all day. It would get greasy and build up in the crease of my eyelid.
Then, I found this product. A great base coat for your eyes, and it keeps your eyeshadow on longer!
So I have mentioned before that I am not a fancy make-up kind of girl. Overall, I am pretty low maintenance, especially in the makeup department.
However, I kept reading about girls who would “contour” their faces. When I started researching, it looked like they all used loads of different colored creams that I was in no way interested in trying.
BUT THEN — I saw a girl using this product. It’s kind of like a short cut to all the contouring creams. It gives a little bit of a shadow on your cheekbones and hairline and then brightens up under your eyes, your forehead, and the line down your nose.
It’s a lot simpler than the creams, but still makes me look better than when I don’t use it! So I’m a big fan!
