How in the world do I apply this stuff?!?

I’ve got you covered! I’ve applied this stuff multiple times, and I want to help!

Buuuuut there are certain steps that should be taken in order to maximize your results.

How To Apply LipSense!

1. Shake LipSense before applying!

There is a little metal bead inside every tube of LipSense that will help break up the particles so you get the best application! So shake, shake, shake it like a polaroid picture! 😜

2. Apply LipSense to clean, dry lips.

When applying makeup, most women tend to leave lips for last. Make sure that you don’t have any powder or foundation residue on your lips before applying.

It’s best practice to use a damp cloth and just wipe them clean and then dry them.

3. Apply LipSense in a fluid, sweeping motion (one direction). *Remember to keep lips apart!*

If you put your lips together before applying the gloss, your lips will actually seem super sticky!

4. You will need 3 layers of LipSense. Let each layer dry 3-5 seconds before applying the next layer.

Applying LipSense is a lot like applying fingernail or toenail polish. You want thin layers, and you want each layer to dry in between before applying the next. The goal is not to end up with chunky thick layers… this will lead to peeling and flaking!

5. Finish with LipSense Gloss – other glosses will break down the color – and reapply as needed throughout the day.

Please know that I have learned this through experience. Now, I have literally thrown away all other chapsticks besides my SeneGence Lip Balm because these products are truly designed to be applied together to maximize the results!

Apply any LipSense Lip Gloss throughout the day to continue that protective layer that will seal in your color and keep it on longer!

Apply it anytime your lips feel like they’re getting dry.

6. Mix and match colors for a customized look!

So a super fun part about LipSense products is that when you buy two LipSense colors, you instantly have NINE different color combinations!

Since LipSense requires three separate layers, imagine layering different colors and in different orders!

Orrrrr you could get a dab of each color and put it onto a surface where you can pre-mix the colors together and create a brand new color of your own!

The options are endless. SO MUCH FUN!!

Fun Fact:

LipSense contains SD40 cosmetic grade alcohol. When applied to lips, it can have a tingling feeling. Your lips may be dry and chapped and that is why you feel this. After using LipSense a few times, you won’t notice because your lips will be healthier. And, bonus, the alcohol keeps the tube bacteria free!
